Product Description
Dextrose Broth is a liquid medium used for the cultivation of fungi from sterile and non-sterile products in a laboratory setting. Enzymatic Digests of Casein and Animal Tissue provide the nitrogen and vitamin sources required for fungal growth. Dextrose is the fermentable carbohydrate. The high concentration of this carbohydrate, as well as the acidic pH, makes the medium selective for fungi.
