Bottles, carboys, flasks and centrifuge vessels for storing, transporting and processing liquids in the laboratory — from 15 mL tubes to 20 L carboys.
Sterile and non-sterile options in PP, PETG, HDPE, PC and borosilicate glass.
Centrifuge bottles are rated for a maximum RCF, and that rating assumes the bottle is properly supported by its adaptor. Running above the rating — or without the correct adaptor — risks bottle failure mid-run.
Confirm the bottle rating, the rotor maximum RCF and the adaptor together before ordering.
Gamma-irradiated sterile vessels arrive ready to use and are intended for single use. Autoclavable vessels can be reprocessed, but repeated cycles gradually reduce clarity and mechanical strength in most plastics.
For GMP and validated workflows, single-use sterile vessels with lot traceability are usually the simpler path.
Neck finish determines cap compatibility — GL45, 38-430 and 33-400 are the most common. Sealing rings, pouring rings and membrane caps for venting are available separately. When ordering replacement caps, match the neck finish, not the bottle volume.
