Laminar Flow
Esco laminar flow clean benches providing HEPA-filtered, particle-free work surfaces for media plating, electronics assembly and sterile device handling.
Laminar flow benches protect the product only. Filtered air sweeps across the work surface and exits toward the operator, so they must never be used with infectious agents, human-derived material or any biohazardous sample — for that work a biological safety cabinet is required. Horizontal units direct air toward the operator and suit non-hazardous assembly; vertical units direct air downward and are preferred where the operator leans over the work surface.
