The HybriDetect Chase Buffer (MHCB 1) is the standard, universal running buffer designed for use with the Milenia HybriDetect lateral flow test strips (Dipsticks and Cassettes). It acts as the essential matrix to transport the sample across the nitrocellulose membrane, ensuring optimal flow characteristics and reducing background noise. This "basic" buffer is the same formulation included in the standard HybriDetect (MGHD 1) and HybriDetect Cassette (MGHC 1) kits and is suitable for the majority of applications, including protein detection and many nucleic acid assays.

Optimized for Lateral Flow

Formulated as a TRIS-buffered saline solution (pH 7.4) with viscosity-regulating components and preservatives, it ensures consistent migration of gold conjugates and analytes. It allows for flexible sample application methods, either by dipping the strip into the buffer after sample application or by mixing the sample directly with the buffer before loading.
