SOLIScript® 1-step SolisGreen® Kit 2.0
Description
SOLIScript® 1-step SolisGreen® Kit 2.0 is specially designed for dye-based real-time one-step RT-PCR (RT-qPCR) assays. SolisGreen® dsDNA binding dye is incorporated into the product to evaluate the DNA amplification process during qPCR. The fluorescence spectra of this dye are similar to the more widely used SYBR® Green I and is compatible with most major real-time cyclers. When compared to SYBR® Green I, SolisGreen® dye shows:
- higher fluorescence level
- better sensitivity for detecting low template concentrations
- great stability for room temperature storage
SOLIScript® 1-step SolisGreen® Kit 2.0 is an optimized ready-to-use kit that comes in 3 tubes (including nuclease free water) and contains all the necessary components, except sample (RNA template) and primers, to perform reactions with accurate and highly sensitive results. Additionally, the product includes a passive reference based on ROX dye making it compatible with both ROX-dependent and ROX-independent qPCR cyclers.

5x One-step SolisGreen® Mix 2.0: HOT FIREPol® DNA polymerase, dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP), 12.5 mM MgCl2 (1x RT-qPCR solution – 2.5 mM MgCl2), SolisGreen® dye, passive reference dye based on ROX dye.
Water, nuclease-free.
Storage
Routine storage: -20 ºC
Temporary storage for up to 1 month at room temperature has no detrimental effects on the quality of the reagents.
