Filter tips, standard tips and precision dispenser tips in racked, bulk and refill formats, from 10 µL to 1250 µL.
Certified sterile, DNase/RNase-free and non-pyrogenic where indicated.
The filter is a physical barrier between the sample and the pipette shaft. It matters in two situations:
For routine buffer handling and media work, standard tips are perfectly adequate and considerably cheaper.
Tip geometry varies between manufacturers. A tip that seats loosely leaks air and under-delivers; one that seats too tightly stresses the pipette shaft and ejector. Both introduce volumetric error that no calibration will correct. When switching brands, verify fit and re-check accuracy on your specific pipettes before committing to a bulk order.
Low-retention tips use a hydrophobic surface treatment so viscous or detergent-containing liquids release cleanly instead of clinging to the wall. For small volumes of precious sample — enzymes, antibodies, library preps — the difference in recovery is measurable. For water-like solutions above 100 µL it is rarely worth the premium.
Racked tips are fastest to use and stay sterile until opened. Refill stacks cut plastic waste and cost roughly 30-40% less per tip, at the price of a reloading step. Bulk bags are cheapest and suit non-sterile routine work where tips are loaded by hand or autoclaved in-house.
