Product Description
The Yamato BOS-110 is a compact 1.0 L oil bath with integrated magnetic stirring, holding ±0.3 °C at 200 °C while the stirrer runs. That accuracy is the point: it is stirring that makes it possible, because an unstirred oil bath stratifies and the reading at the probe stops describing the flask.
This is the stainless steel bath version. It gives up visibility in exchange for better thermal stability and a higher ceiling — 250 °C against 240 °C on the glass model — and it will not crack if something knocks it.

Note on bath fluid
Heat transfer oil is not included. Choose a fluid rated above your working temperature; silicone oil is the usual choice at this range. Fill to the recommended 0.8 L — oil expands as it heats, and never run the bath dry.
