Centrifuge

Laboratory centrifuges for research, clinical and industrial labs — from compact personal units to refrigerated high-speed models. Authorized distributor for Gyrozen, Hermle, Labogene and Ilshin.

Rotors, buckets and tube adaptors supplied as complete, verified configurations.

Which centrifuge fits your work?

Three questions decide it: sample volume, required speed, and whether your samples need temperature control.

  • Microcentrifuges — 0.2 to 5.0 mL tubes at high speed. DNA, RNA and protein prep.
  • Benchtop centrifuges — 15 and 50 mL conicals and blood collection tubes. Cell culture and clinical work.
  • Refrigerated models — hold sub-ambient temperature through the run. Enzymes, live cells, heat-sensitive samples.
  • Large-capacity units — 250 mL to 1,000 mL bottles. Bioprocessing and media preparation.
Fixed angle or swing-out?

Fixed angle rotors hold tubes at a set angle and reach higher speeds. The pellet forms against the tube wall — the usual choice for pelleting nucleic acids and bacteria.

Swing-out rotors let tubes pivot to horizontal during the run, forming a flat pellet with a clean interface. Preferred for blood components, density gradients and microplates.

RPM and RCF are not the same thing

Published protocols specify RCF (relative centrifugal force, written as × g), not RPM. The two are not interchangeable.

RCF depends on rotational speed and rotor radius, so the same RPM on two different rotors delivers different force. When comparing models, compare maximum RCF for the specific rotor you intend to run.

Bio-safe containment

Rotors and buckets with bio-safe sealing lids contain aerosols during the run and can be removed and opened inside a biological safety cabinet. Recommended for clinical diagnostics, infectious sample handling and any BSL-2 laboratory. Gyrozen bio-safe rotors are identified by a green sealing lid.
