Product Description
The Streamline® SLC-RABS is a closed restricted access barrier system for sterile compounding. This negative-pressure configuration is a compounding aseptic containment isolator for hazardous drug compounding under USP <800>. The work zone and the pass-through chamber are held below room pressure, so drug residue stays contained instead of reaching the operator or the room.
H14 supply and exhaust filtration holds the main chamber and the pass-through at ISO Class 5. Work zone air is changed 20 to 30 times per minute and recovers to ISO Class 5 in under three minutes after a worst-case contamination event.
The 6 ft unit is operated through three oval gloveports with safe-change cuff rings, so gloves can be replaced mid-process without opening the work zone. The airlock pass-through uses a vertical sliding door with an electrical interlock that prevents both doors being open at once.
Waste chute openings in the work surface feed sharps containers on a mounting rack below, so sharps leave the work zone without breaking containment. A maximum of two containers mount per unit.
A motorized height-adjustable stand (SHM-6A2) is included, not a separate line on the quote.
Please note: this is a recirculating isolator, suitable for non-volatile hazardous materials, antineoplastic and cytotoxic compounding. Volatile hazardous drugs require external ducting.
