IBI's IB96000 Immunoblotter is ideal for primary and secondary anti-body staining of post western transfer membranes. It allows for blocking, staining, and rinsing membranes without having to remove the membrane from the chamber, saving on buffers and expensive antibody. The Immunoblotter requires only 3-4ml of antibody solution to completely cover the membrane and no rocking platforms are required during use.
The easy-to-use immunoblotter allows for injection of the antibody staining solution directly into the 7.5cm (long) x 9cm (wide) chamber with a luer-lock syringe or small pipette tip after western transfer is complete. A large syringe connects to the injection port to push solutions through the exit tube into a waste beaker.
The unit is constructed of durable cast acrylic to provide years of reliable service. Merely clean with warm water and a light detergent between use.
Each IB96000 comes complete with skid proof rubber feet, a drain tube, and an operation manual.
