Plant tissue culture runs for weeks, sometimes months, and every vessel in the growth room has to survive repeated autoclaving without clouding, cracking or deforming. The SPL Phytohealth vessel is polypropylene and autoclavable, which is what separates a vessel you buy once from one you throw away each cycle.
