Cell Culture Plate
A 48-well plate sits in the useful middle of the plate range: enough wells to run a condition series with replicates, each well big enough (0.75 cm² growth area, 0.50 ml working volume) to get a real cell population rather than a handful of cells.
This is the non-treated version. Untreated polystyrene is hydrophobic, so adherent cells will not attach well to it — which is exactly what you want for suspension culture, for spheroid formation, or for work where you supply your own coating. If you need cells to adhere, order the surface-treated version instead.
