Amber Cryovial
Cryovials hold cells, specimens and solutions through freezing, storage and thaw — conditions under which an ordinary tube fails. SPL Cryovials are built for that cycle, and this is the amber version: the resin blocks light, which matters for anything photosensitive being stored long-term where nobody is checking on it.
This is the external cap style. An external thread means the cap seals on the outside of the vial, so the sample never contacts the thread — easier to fill cleanly and less risk of contamination at the seal. It includes a washer for a positive seal, and has a round bottom.
