Product Description
This is a dry heat sterilizer, not a steam autoclave. The Yamato SK-601-220V sterilizes a 162 L chamber with hot air alone — no water, no pressure vessel, no drain bottle.
That matters for what you can put in it. Dry heat is the method for glassware, metal instruments, powders, oils and anhydrous materials — anything steam would wet, corrode or simply fail to penetrate. Sealed containers and non-aqueous liquids sterilize properly here and cannot in an autoclave. The trade-off is time and temperature: dry heat needs longer holds at higher temperatures than saturated steam.
