Product Description
ProtiPlate™ Pop2 96 Deep-Well Plate — One Plate, Full Workflow
Plasma is a goldmine of biological insight and one of the most challenging fluids to analyze. Highly abundant proteins like HSA and IgG make up nearly 70 % of total plasma protein content, masking the low-abundance biomarkers that matter most. As research cohorts grow and timelines tighten, the need for scalable, reproducible depletion has never been greater.
ProtiPlate™ Pop2 transfers the proven Pop2 depletion chemistry into a prefilled 96-well deep-well format, removing HSA and IgG from undiluted plasma at scale. Fully compatible with liquid handling systems, it delivers consistent well-to-well reproducibility across large sample batches, accelerating discovery without compromising quality.
Key Features
- 96 deep-well filter plate prefilled with optimized Pop2 depletion resin
- Same chemistry and formulation as the ProtiPrep™ Pop2 spin column, in a high-throughput format
- Reproducible results in 10 minutes, plate format
- Processed manually or on automated liquid handling systems
- Consistent well-to-well performance across large sample cohorts
- Designed for undiluted human plasma samples
Performance Data
- Depletion efficiency (ELISA): mean 98.60 % HSA and 97.60 % IgG, with median efficiencies of 98.75 % and 98.23 % respectively. Evaluated using pooled human plasma from 60 donors, n = 22.
- SDS-PAGE: analysis of pooled human plasma (60 donors) before and after HSA and IgG depletion using ProtiPlate™ Pop2. Depleted samples show a strong reduction of the HSA and IgG bands, while the bead fraction confirms specific capture.
Workflow
- Add sample
- Seal the plate
- Shake / mix
- Incubate 5 minutes
- Centrifuge
- Collect the depleted eluate — ready for downstream analysis
