Binocular LED Fluorescence Microscope
The OPTIKA B-292LD1.50 is a specialized model within the B-290 series, designed specifically for LED fluorescence applications such as tuberculosis and malaria analysis, in addition to standard brightfield observation. It combines a binocular head with high-quality IOS N-PLAN objectives and a dual illumination system. This includes the powerful transmitted X-LED³ for brightfield and a dedicated Epi-fluorescence LED illuminator with a blue filter set, offering a cost-effective and immediate solution for on-field diagnosis.
Ergonomic and Versatile Performance
Built for reliability, the B-292LD1.50 features the same robust construction as the rest of the series. It includes a rackless mechanical stage for safe sample handling, coaxial focusing for precision, and an Abbe condenser. Its key advantage is the slider with positions for both brightfield and fluorescence, allowing users to switch observation methods instantly without complex setup, making it an incredibly versatile tool for diagnostic laboratories.

| For brightfield observation, the microscope uses the exclusive X-LED³ lighting source. A special combination of high-efficiency LEDs and an optical system allows OPTIKA to double the light intensity generated by a standard LED. The resulting light is comparable to a 50W halogen lamp but with a color temperature of 6300K, representing sunlight. |

Laboratory Grade Optics & LED Fluorescence
This model is equipped with high-quality IOS (Infinity Corrected) objectives. The epi-fluorescence attachment uses a high-efficiency LED that requires no warm-up/cool-down time and has a long lifespan. The included blue filter set is suitable for a variety of common fluorochromes.

The B-290LD models offer an ultra-convenient LED fluorescence solution. Unlike traditional HBO mercury lamps, the LED illuminator provides immediate operation with no waiting time. This cost-effective technology eliminates the need for lamp replacements and centering, saving both time and money while providing excellent performance for diagnostic applications like viewing Auramine O (for Tuberculosis) and other fluorochromes.
