Product Description
The Yamato SM-530 is a 50 L autoclave with integrated drying and a 7-inch touch screen. It reaches 135 °C at 0.255 MPa — the temperature required for protein denaturation, which a 121 °C cycle does not achieve.
Where a basic autoclave has one sterilizing setpoint, this one runs four named stages you configure independently: preheat, sterilize, liquefy and dry, plus a keep-warm retain mode that holds agar molten at 45 to 60 °C so a media prep batch does not set before it is poured. That is a full media workflow in one machine.
