The Gyrozen 1736R is a floor-standing high-speed, high-capacity refrigerated centrifuge. It reaches 17,000 rpm (32,310 x g) with fixed-angle rotors and 5,000 rpm (5,394 x g) with swing-out rotors, holding up to 6 x 500 mL bottles or 30 x 1.5/2.0 mL tubes and 4 x 250 mL, 4 x 12 x 15 mL or 4 x 4 microplates. Temperature control from −20 °C to 40 °C with fast-cool to 4 °C in five minutes. Supplied without rotor.

- With motorized lid mechanics, only a gentle touch is sufficient to close and open the lid
- Key lock function keeps the set parameters secured during operation
