Confocal Dish
Confocal and high-resolution imaging needs the sample within the working distance of a high-NA objective, which an ordinary culture dish does not allow — its base is too thick and the wrong refractive index. A confocal dish replaces the centre of the base with a thin optical window the objective can work through.
This is the glass-bottom version with a 13 mm window — the smaller of the two glass options, giving a 1.33 cm² confocal region. Glass remains the reference optical surface for demanding imaging. Surface treated for cell adhesion. If you need a larger imaging field, 101350 is the same dish with a 20 mm window.
