Insect Breeding Dish
Rearing insects needs a container that solves two opposite problems at once: the insects must not escape, and the dish must breathe. Seal it and condensation builds up and the culture dies; leave it open and you lose the colony. The SPL Insect Breeding Dish resolves this with a 40 mm ventilation hole in the cap covered by a 0.053 mm mesh — fine enough to contain even small larvae and adults, open enough for gas exchange.
The dish is 100 × 40 mm externally with a 91.35 × 38.50 mm internal working space, in clear polystyrene so the culture can be observed without opening it.
