Product Description
Exhaust trap kit (part ORT12) for Yamato rotary evaporator systems. It catches solvent vapour that survives the condenser before it reaches the pump and the room. Two reasons to fit one: pump life, because solvent condensing inside a pump destroys it, and air quality, because whatever the condenser misses is otherwise vented into the laboratory. Strongly recommended on any system running volatile or hazardous solvents.
