Product Description
The GB-210 is the spray dryer for laboratories that do not have much sample. It will dry a feed containing as little as 0.5 g of solid content, and with the optional mini cyclone it recovers particles down to 1 μm — the range where a conventional cyclone simply loses the product out the exhaust. In early-stage formulation work, where the whole batch of a new compound might be a gram, that is the difference between running the experiment and not running it.
It is also the most versatile platform in the range, because the same base unit accepts two different attachments. With the GF300 it is a spray dryer; with the GF200 mini-bed attachment it becomes a fluid-bed drying granulator. Two unit operations, one machine, one footprint.
How this model is built up: This listing is the main unit only. Add the GF300 for spray drying (or buy the GB-210A, which is this unit plus the GF300), or the GF200 for fluid-bed granulation (or buy the GB-210B). The bundled part numbers cost exactly the unit plus the attachment — buy whichever is easier to order.
Key Features
- 40 to 220 °C inlet temperature, ±1 °C — low enough for heat-sensitive actives, high enough for fast evaporation
- Two-way nozzle, No. 1A (0.4 mm) as standard
- Drying air 0 to 0.7 m³/min and spray air 0 to 0.3 MPa, both continuously adjustable
- Peristaltic feed pump, 0 to 26 mL/min — the sample only ever touches tubing, so cleaning is a tube change
- Manual pulse-jet nozzle cleaning — clears a blocking nozzle without stopping the run and losing the batch
- PID digital control with K thermocouple and a touch panel for blower, heater, pump and pulse jet
- 4–20 mA outputs for inlet and outlet temperature, so the run can be logged externally
- Inlet or outlet temperature control, selectable
- Handles ultra-small samples — down to 0.5 g of solid content
- Fine powder to 1 μm with the optional mini cyclone (part 212780)
- Converts to a fluid-bed granulator with the GF200 attachment
- 760 × 420 × 1350 mm, approx. 110 kg

Installation Requirements
- Electrical: single phase AC 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz, 16–18 A. Terminal switching is required for your voltage — this is an electrician's job, not a plug change.
- Compressed air: an air compressor is required for water-soluble samples and is sold separately. For organic solvents the compressor built into the GAS-410 is used instead, so no separate compressor is needed.
- Exhaust: ø50 mm exhaust connection. Duct it out or to a hood — you are venting hot, humid air and whatever did not condense.
- Organic solvents: require the GAS-410 solvent recovery unit. Do not run flammable solvents on an open-cycle machine.
