A standard cyclone separates powder from the exhaust stream by spinning it out — and below roughly 5 μm it stops working, because the particles are too light for the centrifugal force to catch. They leave with the exhaust, and your yield quietly drops.
This fine powder recovery cyclone extends useful recovery down to 1 μm on the ADL-311S and GB-210. For submicron-adjacent formulation work — nanoparticle-loaded carriers, inhalation-grade powders, fine ceramic precursors — it is the difference between recovering the batch and finding it in the filter.
