Product Description
The GB-210A is the spray dryer for laboratories that do not have much sample. It will dry a feed containing as little as 0.5 g of solid content, and with the optional mini cyclone it recovers particles down to 1 μm — the range where a conventional cyclone simply loses the product out the exhaust. In early-stage formulation work, where the whole batch of a new compound might be a gram, that is the difference between running the experiment and not running it.
Everything else is the same well-proven platform: 40 to 220 °C inlet at ±1 °C, a two-way nozzle, a peristaltic feed pump the sample never leaves, and manual pulse-jet nozzle clearing so a partial blockage does not cost you the batch.
How this model is built up: The GB-210A is the GB-210 main unit plus the GF300 Pulvis mini-spray attachment. The same base unit fitted with the GF200 instead becomes the GB-210B fluid-bed drying granulator — so if you may want both operations, buy the bare GB-210 and the two attachments.
Key Features
- 40 to 220 °C inlet temperature, ±1 °C — low enough for heat-sensitive actives, high enough for fast evaporation
- Two-way nozzle, No. 1A as standard
- Drying air 0 to 0.7 m³/min and spray air 0 to 0.3 MPa, both continuously adjustable
- Peristaltic feed pump, 0 to 26 mL/min — the sample only ever touches tubing, so cleaning is a tube change
- Manual pulse-jet nozzle cleaning — clears a blocking nozzle without stopping the run and losing the batch
- PID digital control with K thermocouple and a touch panel for blower, heater, pump and pulse jet
- 4–20 mA outputs for inlet and outlet temperature, so the run can be logged externally
- Inlet or outlet temperature control, selectable
- Handles ultra-small samples — down to 0.5 g of solid content
- Fine powder to 1 μm with the optional mini cyclone (part 212780)
- 760 × 420 × 1350 mm, approx. 110 kg

Safety Features
- Inlet and outlet overheat protection
- Sample feed reverse-rotation mechanism — backs the feed out rather than forcing it into a blocked line
- Overcurrent and electrical leakage breaker
- Nozzle connection error detection — the unit will not heat with the nozzle wrongly fitted

- Spray air tube
- Sample box
- Static electricity removal earth
- Teflon braided hose, 5 m, with two hose bands
- Container table
- Instruction manual
Not included: Air compressor, GAS-410 organic solvent recovery unit, GWS-410 solvent washing unit, mini cyclone (212780), and product collecting containers (GF-32-168 / GF-32-168 LONG).
Installation Requirements
- Electrical: single phase AC 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz, 16–18 A. Terminal switching is required for your voltage — an electrician's job, not a plug change.
- Compressed air: an air compressor is required for water-soluble samples and is sold separately. For organic solvents the compressor built into the GAS-410 is used instead.
- Exhaust: ø50 mm connection — duct it out or to a hood.
- Organic solvents: require the GAS-410 solvent recovery unit. Do not run flammable solvents on an open-cycle machine.
