Product Description
The recommended vacuum pump for Yamato RE-202-A and RE-212-A rotary evaporators, supplied as a kit with the vacuum hose. Oil-free diaphragm is the operative phrase: a rotary vane pump pulls solvent vapour into its oil, where the solvent dilutes the oil, destroys the seal and eventually the pump. A diaphragm pump has no oil to contaminate, so it survives solvent service and needs no oil changes.
Accepts 100–240 V, so the same pump serves a 115 V or a 220 V installation. Ships with the 225161 vacuum hose.
