Product Description
Milenia Biotec GenLine Lactobacillus/Pediococcus Screen (MGScLP 1)
PCR Detection of Beer Spoiling Lactobacillus sp. and Pediococcus sp.
The GenLine Lactobacillus/Pediococcus Screen is a PCR module for the qualitative detection of beer spoiling Lactobacillus sp. and Pediococcus sp., the most common beer spoilers, including L. brevis, L. lindneri, L. casei and P. damnosus. It works directly from liquid enrichments or single colonies with no DNA extraction, and gives results in about one hour.
Milenia GenLine is a modular system: each PCR Module (MGScLP 1, MGScMP 1, MGScHOR 1) contains the amplification reagents only, and results are read on the lateral flow dipsticks of the PCR Universal Module (MGUP 1), which is ordered separately.
